Community Care | Keeping Grounded

Jan 21, 2026

As we turn on our out-of-office messages in the coming weeks, here are a few small practices to keep grounded amid the holiday bustle:

  • Spend time at the places that matter to you. Whether you’re home or traveling, stop by a park, library, museum, or historic site that serves the community.
  • Visit a public site that’s recovering from cuts or closures. Leave a small donation, if you’re able.
  • Enjoy a comfort watch (or rewatch). This year, our team leaned on Lego Batman, Derry Girls, Ted Lasso, K-Pop Demon Hunters, Interview with the Vampire, and Ocean’s 8.
  • Bake a dessert with local ingredients. Share it with friends, family, or your community. We’ve been enjoying this easy, grain-free berry crisp made with Oregon berries.
