Community Care | Reminders For The Year Ahead

Feb 17, 2026

If you're feeling isolated or uncertain right now, you’re not alone. When the headlines feel bigger than any one person, we find it grounding to turn our attention back to our local and professional communities.

A few bite-sized reminders for the year ahead:

  • Stay connected to peers. Even one trusted colleague can make a hard week easier.
  • Trade notes. What’s working in your institution or region might help someone else.
  • Engage in micro-collaboration. One shared resource, joint idea, or “I can help with that” goes a long way.
  • Keep your professional network alive. Community is often where the most practical solutions surface.

In the spirit of noblesse oblige and billionaires doing good, we’re also enjoying Loot on Apple TV. It’s a lighthearted reminder that humor can brighten dark seasons.
