Community Care | Support and Protect Yourselves in This Era of Disappearing Ink

A love of history is something that everyone in this field has in common, as is the desire to protect historical knowledge for future generations. Whether it’s by speaking out or donating to a cause, here are a few ways you can support and protect yourselves in this era of disappearing ink. 

• Grab a Podcast and Support Resistance Rangers: In an effort to resist the disappearance of history from their sites, off-duty rangers are sharing their history with anyone who wants to listen via their podcast.
• A Guide to Protesting Safely: As protests continue across the country, NCPH shared a link to a WIRED article that provides a comprehensive list of advice. Please bookmark the article and practice safe protesting while you exercise your 1st Amendment rights.
• Postcards with Purpose: If you’re looking for a way to support public history and the NCPH Annual Fund, grab a pack of public history postcards that can be mailed to your home for a $10 donation. You can use these postcards to write your friends or family, advocate for a good cause, as pretty art on your walls, and more!
